Keep local talent local

Launched in 2026, VoTech First is a community initiative that helps North Florida’s emerging technical talent build careers right here at home. We partner with the University of North Florida and are in talks with other institutions across North Florida to grow the program’s reach.

VoTech First is a free, selective program that connects first-time technical job seekers with employers who want to invest in emerging talent. Candidates enter through warm recommendation from trusted educators, mentors, community partners, or professional relationships. There is no public application at this time.

That selectivity keeps the program high-trust, manageable, and serious for both candidates and employer partners.
